Barbeito Boal Reserva 5 Year Old NV 500ml

Barbeito is in its infancy by Madeira standards, having started in the 1940s. Since the mid-90s, their focus has been on wines that are vinous and moreish, preserving freshness and vibrancy above all else. They are drier and paler in colour than what you might expect from a Madeira - they don't add caramel to darken, and the retain as much natural acidity to keep the wines light and moreish.

'100% Boal from quality vineyards located in Arco da Calheta and Prazeres. Aged for a minimum of 5 years (more often average age is 6 or 7 years) naturally across Barbeito's three Canteiro in used French oak. No estufagem.
