Winery Notes - "The Col Mountain vineyard produces relatively powerful fruit and from the first crop we determined to give this small batch production five years in bottle before release. The 2019 is based on the smooth and aromatic Shiraz clones PT23 and 1654 with a little of the robust
and rich Yalumba and R6WV28. The Col Mountain wines are from deep red soil with a significant amount of shattered rock. The 2019 is entering a beautiful phase for medium weight shiraz. It has lovely fragrance with sweet plum mixing with brown spice and grape savouriness. The palate is supple and velvety with mid weight richness. The fine tannin flows on to build a harmonious, long finish."
