This is the top-of-the-tree Reserve bottling from one of our favourite producers. The Sunbury site needs little introduction with a history going back to the 1860s and a great story as to why the current owners - the Carmodys - decided to replant the site in the 70s.
This has 8 years on it now, but will live for 15-20 more, conservatively. Medium-full in weight, it has red and dark berries, a great line of spice, and fine but firm tannins. An impressive wine with an impeccable pedigree.
