Located in the quiet village of Couchey in the Cote de Nuits. This fourth-generation Domaine is run by father and son Philippe & Johann Robert. Traditional Burgundy, long-lived, full of colour and concentration. Whilst not owning any 1er or Grand cru vines, it does have a fine range of holdings in Marsannay & Fixin. As a side note, the Robert family is closely related to the famous Rousseau family which is based in a village over in Gevrey-Chambertin. However, this doesn't define the Domaine, it chooses to stay out of the limelight, rarely receiving wine writers, instead supplying its loyal customers with well-priced Burgundy.
