"The Pinot noir at Scary Gully is one of the highest and oldest in the Adelaide Hills and sits upon a ridge of sandstone and quartz. The steepness of the site, and hence "Scary", means there are often some serious farming challenges in wet years. However, the 2024 season was mild and dry, and although yields were low, the grapes were pristine, and the resulting wine is beautifully balanced, perfumed and pure, all hallmarks of a great season for the site" Notes from the Winery
