By day Adam Louder is the chief winemaker at Mt Langi Ghiran, but also makes a small range of wines under the SubRosa label with his wife Nancy. Starting his career at Best's wines, and then working all over the globe, Adam has returned to his home inthe Grampains, and the industry is all the better for it.
This wine is from the Malakoff vineyard, and though we often see that vineyard as a significant thumbprint on the resulting wine, here it is Nebbiolo that shines over the vineyard.
Here you get a complex, medium-bodied, fruit-forward wine, with berry aromas and lingering mild tannins. It's Nebb, exactly where it should be drinknig wise.
