Vernaccia is grown widely in Italy, but the best comes from San Gimignano in Tuscany. Crunchy, fresh with lively acidity this is a wonderful refreshing starter, but equally works well with a variety of lighter dishes. Not only is it great drinking, at this price it is a real steal.
