According to Mythology, Mount Pangaio was a place of sanctuary to Dionysus - rather appropriate then that Nico Lazaridi planted grapes here in the 90s. Producing a variety of local heritage vines, they are a wonderful source of benchmark Greek wines. Locatated in Drama near the spectacular Mount Falakro in Macedonia. This a blend of 2 native Greek varieties with Sauvignon Blanc. The Sauv Blanc & Assyrtiko add freshness and crispness while the Malagousia brings texture depth & roundness. An end of vintage bargain!
