Burgound Reviews "Dominique Lafon's nephew Pierre briefly noted that the 2022 vintage "was relatively abundant as our yields were in the 50 to 55 hl/ha range, which for us is quite good but in the context of the region, if we're being honest, it's well below average. By the same token, potential alcohols were excellent as they came in between 12.5 to 13% which is right where we like them to be. Stylistically, the 2022s offer freshness, good verve and solid typicity. To be sure, the wines are ripe but not exotic and by no means heavy or plodding. Moreover, they should drink well young but also be able to repay mid-term keeping.

Here the nose is dominated by smoky reduction and only hints of citrus rind are perceptible so give this some air first. The sleek, precise and intense middle weight flavors brim with minerality that adds a sense of lift to the highly refreshing, very dry and notably more complex finale. This is excellent for what it is and warmly recommended."
