Renowned for their title as the oldest Barsac-Sauternes estate, Château-Coutet upholds a legacy of excellent sweet wines made in this iconic region. They are ranked Premier Grand Cru Classé A, basically the Sauternes equivalent to 'First Growth'. In 2010 they launched their first dry wine, the Opalie, which is rarely seen outside of France. At their core, they remain dedicated to the craft of botrytised sweet wines.
