The 1314 range is legendary Bannockburn's entry level range. It's all estate fruit, and the winery consistently produces tasty and complex wines in both Chardonnay and Pinot at this level.
This one has 4 different chardonnay clones, wild yeast fermentation in French hogsheads (about 20% new), and aged on lees for a few months before bottling. Stellar vineyards, premium winemaking knowhow and a great value price.
Citrus, stonefruit, it's fleshy and round with a little creaminess and a touch of salinity on the finish.
