After many years making great wine in Mornington Peninsula, first with Barney Flanders (now at Garagiste), and then on his own, Dave Chapman is now based in Gippsland. And frankly it's like he hasn't missed a beat. This 2025 Pinot is his second (that we've tasted at least), and an absolute winner.
It showcases the deep red & vibrant blue notes of Gippsland, while maintaining the freshenss and vibrancy that was Dave's signature while in Mornington. The palate has depth but a lightness at the same time and the lenght suggests this is a wine that will develop and cellar well. Bravo.
