The Chardonnay vines are grown on an east-facing, gentle slope, allowing early morning and late afternoon sunshine. This aspect is perfect for growing top-quality Chardonnay grapes. Today, the average age of the vines is over 40 years, which adds to the fruit's complexity.

"2024 is a classic Isabella with a textured roundness, lovely balancing acidity and a combination of New and Old World. Drinking beautifully already, but with plenty of ageing potential." - Maryann Egan

"White peach and dried pineapple, grapefruit pith and dried chamomile. Finesse and precision, but not afraid to lean into flavour. That's what is really special here, the way the wine builds tension and how power is deployed with restraint. Neither skeletal like some, nor exaggerated like others. Just perfectly pitched." 14% alcohol, 96 points. Nick Ryan, The Australian Oct 2025

"This is always a complex and beautifully crafted wine. On the nose you'll find aromas of white peach, justripened apricot, crushed stone and a little praline. On the palate, I really like the interplay between the wine's flavour and texture and the fine thread of acidity, giving the wine both structure and length. It's good now but will be even better in four to six years, if not longer from now. Lovely wine. As good, if not better than, the '23. Just 85 dozen bottles made." 97 points. Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion Sep 2025
