You could be forgiven for thinking immediately of the Mosel when we start talking about German Riesling. The Rheingau isn’t far, just continue travelling up the Mosel river and take a hard right when you reach the Rhine. You’ll find the Rheingau sitting on the northern bank, on some the most splendid hills on earth. 

One such hill is that of Kiedricher-Berg, where Weingut Robert Weil has spent four generations crafting some of the finest Riesling on earth. Here you’ll find a rich combination of slate soils, combined with steep slopes (up to 60% inclination) and glorious south-eastern exposure.
