Lethbridge 'The JD' Henty Pinot Noir 2023
Winemaker notes 'Full of perfume, summer berries, brown spice and earth notes, with fleshy weight and a savoury finish, this is cool climate Pinot Noir in fine form'.
Sourced from the Doeven site in Henty Victoria on schist soils, the Pinot Noir clone is of swiss origin (Mariafield) with an open bunch structure, perfectly suited for ripening in cooler climates. Hand picked and fermented in open top vessels with a small whole bunch component, matured in oak for 11 months with 20% new.
