Bass Phillip Reserve Pinot Noir is sourced from a remarkably low-yielding vineyard of just 9000 vines per hectare with an insanely low cropping of just 270 grams of fruit per vine.
The mineral soils are renowned for producing particularly intense and concentrated fruit, the Reserve Pinot Noir is primarily based on a single patch of old Pinot clones.
It is a profound wines and displays an innate balance of acidity and energy that reflect the passionate winemaking, unique soil composition, cooler growing temperatures, and the relatively high humidity of Gippsland.
