Eldridge Estate Gamay 2023

Estate grown Gamay in Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula. One third of the fruit fermented as whole bunches and the remaining 2 parcels were destemmed and fermented as whole berries. No new oak was used and no fining or filtration Bottled November, 2023.

Tasting Notes from the Winery "osehip, mulberry, musk sticks and glazed cherries with a subtle earthy graphite note. Palate is cherries and cranberries, background spices of cinnamon with a twiggy tannin. Finishes crisp and a little savoury. Looks fresh and juvenile now but will develop beautifully over the next few years. "
