Producer Notes - "Mataro is one of the original varieties planted in the Barossa, and for good reason, it has stood the test of time to still be one of the most versatile grapes available to Barossan Winemakers

We are fortunate to have established a strong relationship with a grower that we consider the best in the Barossa; Adrian Hoffmann. This Mataro is source from two parts of his Ebenezer vineyard located in the north of the Valley. The 'Sand Block' and 'David's Block' were planted in 1999 & 2000 respectively from old vine select cuttings.

The 2022 Mataro is everything we love about this variety; wild, fresh and vibrant, with a charm and personality that only Mataro grapes can deliver. The style is lively and energetic, with a savoury profile that supports the bright fruit driven characteristics. A great balance between depth of flavour and a flowing texture provides a versatile drink that can be enjoyed with a range of cuisines or just by itself."
