Clarnette Viognier 2022

Viognier cops a bad rap for being big and blousy as a variety. This may be true for some, but in the right hands, as it is here with Clarnette, it can be rich and sumptuous, with remarkable definition. If you're a fan of richer Chardonnay, try this Pyrenees Viognier - we promise it will be to your liking.

Following on from 2019 when we last made the wine, this is in that same mould. Juicy peach and apricot with just a hint of oak! I sourced these grapes from the Pyrenees this year as I used our own in our Grampians shiraz which has around 4%. - Winemaker's Notes
