Daniel Bouland Beaujolais Morgon 'Corcelette' 2021

A name now synonymous with cru Beaujolais' resurgence into the cool-kid wine scene, Daniel Bouland is remarkably humble. Somewhat reclusive, certainly by the region's standards, he tends to his vines by himself, making brooding, layered expressions of his sites in the Morgon lieux-dits of Corcelette, Bellevue and Delys.

"The 2021 Morgon Corcelette Vieilles Vignes Cailloux opens in the glass with aromas of cherries, mulberries, sweet spices, liquorice and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, it's deep and impressively concentrated, combining classical proportions with superb ripeness.
