Ruby / purple color, the intense and complex nose reveals hints of black fruit, brioche bread. The attack is vivid and velvety. The mid-palate enhanced the blackfruit notes, unveiled firstly on the nose and some toasty notes. The wine is juicy and fleshy with elegant tannins. Long length.

Château Mauvesin Barton's vineyard is located in the village appellation of "Moulis en Médoc", half way between Margaux and Saint Julien, and is the smallest Médoc appellation. It is part of the stable of Bordeaux producers owned by the Barton family which include Leoville-Barton & Langoa-Barton.
