Yalumba Samuels Collection Bush Vine Grenache 2022

Yalumba is extremely fortunate to have access to some of the oldest Grenache vines in the Barossa, sourcing fruit for this wine from vines planted betweem 1898 and 1973. The nose is saturated with fragrant scents of plums and cherries, and softly overripe raspberries, while the palate shows definition and concetration in its structure. Richly textured and roundly supple, the plumpness of the palate is held together with a fine frame of velvet tannins.

The palate is delightfully generous with dark red cherry fruit that merges into ironstone tannins. A medium to full bodied wine with a long, flowing tannin profile.
