From young gun on the rise, and self-proclaimed happy winemaker - Jean-Paul - comes this ultra cool Shiraz. Grown at 600m altitude on cooling granitic soils, these grapes see a long, slow maceration before wild ferment and age in old oak. A fantastic example of how classy cool climate Aussie Shiraz can be. Flavours of blueberries and brambles and ahint of allspice.

Winery Notes "Pet Nat made my way. Riesling fermented in stainless steel, using indigenous yeast. Just before the fermentation finished, the wine was bottled. The result is a sparkling wine with zingy acidity, great texture, and a long finish displaying flavours of green apples, apricots and a hint of lemon peel."

One of the best things about working in a small business, is making relationships with people like Jean-Paul. His charming and effusive energy is palpable in the wines he makes, like this Nebbiolo. Bouncing out of the glass with freshness, expect notes of red cherry, tart cranberry and aniseed, with filigree-fine tannins and a savoury finish.
