Champagne Roederer Collection 243 NV
Collection 243 is made up of 51% base wine from the 2018 vintage. The blend is 42% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir & 18% pinot meunier, including 31% Réserve Perpétuelle.
2018 was an exceptionally warm, sunny year and Collection 243 opens with an explosion of ripe, yellow plum and citrus fruit over delicate florals, brioche and smoky notes. The palate is deep and dense, with a powerful structure balanced to perfection by chalky freshness. A unique combination of perfect ripeness and lively acidity, through to a remarkably long, elegant finish.
