What began as a hobby for winemaker at the time, Phillip Jones, has carried on through the years as something of a cult wine. Made in tiny quantities, the 2019 is all classic Gewurz character - chewy phenolics to the palate, scented with rose petals and candied ginger. Just the third straight cabernet made, and from grapes planted in '99. A deepish bright crimson purple.
