Bright, young, fresh and uncomplicated. Pirie Non Vintage Northern Tasmania is widely recognised for the quality of sparkling wine produced in the true cool climate of 41-42°S. The first Pirie Sparkling (1995 Vintage) did much to establish this reputation. Today the story continues with Pirie Non Vintage, a full flavoured Cuvee from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, boasting complexity from base wines produced in the unique sparkling terroirs of the region.
Tasmania is renowned as Australia’s home of great sparkling wines. The fruit used in this Cuvée is grown on selected, cool climate vineyards across Tasmania.
Honeysuckle and citrus scents are immediately apparent with slight aromas of nougat, roasted nuts and a sniff of strawberry from the Pinot Noir. Delicate fruits and creaminess wash through the mouth leaving a lingering finish of citrus and nougat.

Pure vodka is very different to their black range vodka, designed to work well in all your favourite cocktails where vodka does not need to be the hero. Unlike the black range vodka, this is designed to have a neutral flavour with very little aromatics and less texture on the palate.
Winery Notes "The wine is made from fruit sourced from vineyards in the Coal River (15%) and Derwent (75%) Valleys, along with the North West (8%) and Channel (2%) regions. It is predominantly whole berry (8% whole bunch), fermented with natural yeast, and held on skins for 16-21 days. The wine is then pressed directly to oak (6% new) for maturation and bottled unfined and unfiltered."

Producers Notes - "Historically Clover Hill has followed a traditional pathway of vintage and non-vintage Methode Traditionnelle sparkling wines. But are forging a new path. We believe the most critical elements of sparkling wine are distinctive styles, consistently produced which enables consumers to develop a deep understanding and trust in our brand. Multi-Vintage is a story of complexity in our base wines. Across vintages we use four different techniques to hold reserve … more
