Heroes Vineyard 'Anti Hero' Coola Road Pinot Noir 2023

"From an emerging wine region, just over the border in South Australia. We sought out Coola Road, wanting to explore new expressions of Pinot Noir. The soils here are limestone littered with flint rocks and though it is warmer that the Otways, the climate here is very maritime with almost constant sea breezes keeping temperature moderate." HOUSE Riverland Pinot Grigio 2024

It's been a while since we've had a Grigio in our range and we're so glad its back. Fresh crisp green apples and lemon citrus notes, it has a lovely acid line that adds length to the palate. Grab a cold one from the fridge and pair with seafood pasta or salty chips.

Jim Barry Assyrtiko 2024

"In August 2012 we planted Australia's first Assyrtiko at our Lodge Hill Vineyard, a special and unique site treasured by my family and suited to this variety. Our Assyrtiko journey has been fascinating and has enabled us to produce a wine which, I believe, is a true expression of the variety. I hope you find the flavours as interesting as I did in 2006." Jim Barry Florita Riesling 2016 375ml

'Florita’ is Spanish for ‘little flower’. In 1946 wine merchant Leo Buring purchased land in Watervale and planted sherry varieties including Palamino, which were later replaced by Riesling in 1962. Jim Barry Wines purchased this vineyard in 1986.

First released in 2004, this micro-batch Riesling is made from grapes hand-selected from individual rows. An elegant and balanced wine with intense floral aromas and classic citrus overtones. A magnificent benchmark dry Riesling to be enjoyed now or with careful cellaring for … more

Jim Barry Florita Riesling 2017 [Museum Release in 2024]

Florita' is Spanish for 'little flower'. Located fifteen kilometres south of Clare township in the tiny village of Watervale, the famous Riesling vineyard was planted to Palamino in 1946 for making Fino Sherry, and replanted to Riesling in 1962. The birthplace of Leo Buring Watervale Riesling, Florita was where legendary winemaker John Vickery sourced his grapes for his great Watervale Rieslings of the 1960s and 1970s. The 80-acre vineyard was sold by globally-owned multi-national company, Linderman's to brother's Mark, Peter … more

Jim Barry Florita Riesling 2023 Magnum

First released as the 'Florita Riesling' in 2004 by Jim Barry Wines, this micro-batch Riesling is made from grapes hand-selected from individual rows. Its best fruit comes from vines planted in shallow loamy soils and the vineyard has good air-drainage which alleviates the risk of frost. Aromas of freshly cut lime, with fleshy lemon and grapefruit juice. Intense focus and purity, with a glass rod like structure through the palate. All framed in florals and fresh lime juice. Jim Barry Spring Farm Block 114 Riesling 2013

The Spring Farm block showed immediate promise for Riesling, with its windswept hills at high altitudes and tiny micro-climate pockets with bountiful sunshine to warm the cool slopes. Released after 10 years in the cellar, it's drinking beautifully now showing all the best characters of aged Aussie Riesling - candied lime peel, waxy lily petal florals, fresh sourdough & butter.

Jim Barry St Clare Cabernet Malbec 2016

"Made from the two red grape varieties I think the Clare Valley does best. I love a wine where it takes me only a couple of seconds to form an opinion. This was love at first sight, or sip. Red and black berries, mint and leaf, a violet perfume, tobacco and all that, but it's the dense, yet light palate that pulls you in. It's packed with tannin, feels fine in the acid department, has this inky ferrous thing going … more

Jim Barry The McRae Wood Shiraz 2013 375ml

The origins of ‘The McRae Wood’ are closely linked to the family’s flagship Shiraz, ‘The Armagh’. Following its creation in 1985 and subsequent success, the winery was unable to meet demand for ‘The Armagh’. Unwilling to compromise on quality to meet this need, Peter and his brothers decided to create a new wine in 1992, utilising fruit that was downgraded from the Armagh vineyard as well as superior parcels from the family’s other vineyards around the Clare Valley.

Jumping Juice Pet Nat 2022

Born from disillusionment with the standard of Pet Nats flooding the market, the Jumping Juice Pet Nat was a two year long labour-of-love courtesy of Patrick Sullivan and Xavier Goodridge. Natty-wine scene darlings, these guys have managed to maintain the cool guy label without releasing "funky" (faulty) wines. Their pet nat is a triumph, a citrus pithy, watermelon-fresh fizz bomb made from Vermentino and Nero di Troia sourced from the Riverland, SA.
