Tyrrells Hunter Valley Shiraz 2021
Sourced from a small selection of our favourite shiraz blocks, the grapes were both hand and machine picked before fermentation in the traditional open top vats. The wine was then matured in older, large format French oak casks. These 2,700 litre casks highlight the fruit purity whilst making sure that oak isn’t the dominant character.

Chalmers Vermentino 2022
Chalmers Vermentino is a truly unique iteration of the Mediterranean grape, pressed and wild ferment in tank, the 2022 vintage was cool, bringing out characters of Meyer lemon, white stone fruits, raw pine nuts, salt bush and lifted native florals. The palate is crisp and refreshing, just what you want to drink in spring and summer on the beach with some fish and chips or gobbling down some prawn and pork dumplings. - Winery Notes

Heathcote Estate Shiraz 2021 375ml
The 2021 vintage was exceptional in Heathcote, with all the makings of our finest yet. One of our coldest winters in recent memory was followed by a warm and dry spring, with perfect, even set and growth. The warm, dry and consistent conditions prevailed throughout summer, resulting in highly concentrated small berries. Lifted perfume with layers of red and black fruits. Pristine and poised with floral notes, tar, gun flint and exceptional concentration and purity. The palate is seamless and … more

Syrahmi Demi Syrah 2022
Far and away the best value offering from Syrahmi, this is a great example of modern Heathcote at the fraction of the price of some of the greats. Excellent fruit, handled gently and framed with restrained oak. The wine is darkly purple and blue fruited, with sumptuous acidity and a fresh turned earth mineral quality to the finish.

Bindi Pyrette Heathcote Shiraz 2021
"This project now goes back two decades, to 2001. The seasonal stamp is always there, these are not formulaic wines scrubbed and rubbed into an overriding house style, for the harvest date and winemaking is focused in ensuring a balanced wine that shows the markings of the year. (As James Halliday says, a Pinot Noir winemaker's Shiraz!). The 2021 is a delicious and harmonious continuation of the style showing complex dark fruits, earth, spice and graphite. The palate is initially … more

Osicka Selection Tooboorac Shiraz 2022
Fruit selected from three different Heathcote vineyards. Two on an east facing slope on the Mount Camel Range, grown on red soil from the Cambrian era interspaced with greenstone and buckshot gravel. The other south of Heathcote, grown on decomposed granite near the township of Tooborac. The Mount Camel portion contributed weight and depth. The Tooborac fruit added that little bit of something special, giving lift and focus. - Winery Notes

Paul Osicka Majors Creek Vineyard Shiraz 2021
"The lead into the 2021 season had good winter rainfall followed by a mild growing season. A very low yielding vintage for our vineyard that resulted in concentrated wines and the mild season contributing to vibrancy of fruit.
The 10 Ha of Shiraz was handpicked in separate parcels dependent on soil type. Bunch sorted in the vineyard, the fruit was chilled overnight before it was processed and then berry sorted post destemmer. Fermented in small open top pots, the fruit … more

Whistling Eagle Eagles Blood Shiraz 2016
Impenetrable black as night colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Heady aromatics of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate intermix with vanillin cedar, black plum and spice. Bold, richly textured flavours of succulent blackberries, liquorice and black plum flavours hit the palate with tremendous force completely saturating the mouth. Underpinning the fruit is spicy vanillin oak, light earth and spicy pepper. Velvet smooth tannins have a lurking sturdiness to them. Outstanding concentration and power with a long … more

Syrahmi "Angus" Heathcote Shiraz 2019
"The Syrahmi wines are nothing if not complex. This is meaty, spicy, floral and no doubt more, its plum-shot heart surrounded by all manner of goings on. Floral notes sit high in the wine, as do smoked meat characters and sweet cedar. It's a hell of a ride but, most importantly, it's a convincing one." 94 pts, Campbell Mattinson
