Agrapart l'Avizoise Blanc de Blanc Grand Cru Extra Brut 04
"The NV (2004) Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru L'Avizoise is another explosive, full-bodied
wine bursting at the seams with fruit. This, too, shows wonderful shades of dimension in a style
that deftly balances exuberance with cool, reserved minerality. Agrapart crafts the Avizoise from
two parcels of 50-year-old vines in the lieu-dits of Les Robarts and La Voie d'Epernay. Fermentation
took place in 600-liter neutral oak barrels and dosage was 5 grams per liter. Disgorged: January,
2010." 93 POINTS, ANTONIO GALLONI, THE WINE ADVOCATE, DEC 2010

Albino Rocca Dolcetto d'Alba Vignalunga 09
This is a bright yet pulpy red with cherry, coffee and spice aromas and flavours. This has more flesh and texture in '09 thanks to the warmer vintage.

Albino Rocca Duemilasette Barbaresco 07
This wine comes from a south facing, single vineyard in a cru called Montersino. All of the Rocca's three Barbaresco wines are single cru wines. This could be released under the single cru name - Montersino - and one day it surely will be. For the moment the Roccas name it simply with the vintage: Duemilasette. The altitude here is 310 metres and the soil a mix of clay and limestone. It's 100% Nebbiolo of course, from an outstanding vintage, and matured exclusively in large, 20 hectolitre Botti for two years. The resulting wine is a wonderfully elegant, silky textured, remarkably open example of Barbaresco with dark chocolate and ripe cherry fruit and plenty of fine tannins on the long sappy close. Gorgeous juice and an absolute steal at this price. 900 cases produced.
"A smooth, charming red, yet with the unmistakable licorice, tar and cherry flavors of Nebbiolo. This is round, featuring a hint of oak spice and tannins embedded in its ample flesh. The finish is long, unfolding gracefully, with licorice and spice. Best from 2012 through 2025."

Alvaro Palacios Camins del Priorat 08
This is a great entry point to the fine wines of Priorat. Having the typical density of fruit and plush, weighty mouthfeel of the style. The only thing it is lacking of its big brothers is the long term age worthiness, but that just means you can enjoy it now.

Alvaro Palacios L'Ermita 04
l'Ermita is one of the Icon wines of Spain. From the hills of Priorat, this shows the region style perfectly - rich and powerful but with the structure and underlying minerality to balance it all out. While the ines look great young, they certainly benefit from time in the bottle.

André Clouet Cuvee Un Jour de 1911
The NV Grand Cru Cuvee 1911 emerges from the glass with the most haunting of perfumes. Sweet rose petal and jasmine are some of the nuances that emerge over time. Despite recent disgorgement, the purity of the fruit and the extraordinary elegance of the mousse are hard to miss. This is an exceptional, elegant version of the 1911 that should drink beautifully for years to come. The bottle I tasted needed quite a bit of air to open up, so readers should be patient with the wine at this stage. The current release of the 1911 is 100% Pinot Noir, 50% 2002 vintage and 50% a solera blend that dates back to 1998. This is Lot L05, disgorged October 4, 2010 and bottled with dosage of 6 grams per liter.
This is another strong set of wines from Andre Clouet. Readers who appreciate Pinot-based Champagnes will find much to admire here. ANTONIO GALLONI, The Wine Advocate, December 2010

André Clouet Grande Reserve Brut NV
100% Pinot Noir.
The NV Brut Grande Reserve offers up layers of mineral-infused red fruits on a silky, mid-weight frame, with gorgeous length and a refined, subtle mousse. This impeccable, elegant wine shows terrific overall balance as well as complexity. I loved it. Andre Clouet is based in Bouzy, a village where Pinot Noir speaks with great eloquence, as is evident in these superb, pedigreed Champagnes. ANTONIO GALLONI
It takes great talent to capture such fine lemon blossom perfume in 100% pinot noir, let alone from such grandiose pedigree as Bouzy and Ambonnay. Typically a blend of three vintages, this wine brilliantly captures pose, elegance and purity within pinot's style of primary strawberry hull, vanilla, cinnamon, brioche and mixed spice. Impressive freshness of lemon fruit line, crunchy nashi pear, a tiny, taut bead and lingering minerality. Outstanding value for money, and even more impressive than a year ago.
